Village association

Sundom bygdeförening r.f.

• Was founded in 1953

Aim:

• To promote cultural, social and enviromental values in Sundom, and to give the inhabitants the feeling of "being at home".   

Activities and aims:

• To gather representatives for the associations in the village and the surroundings for discussions and information.
• To follow up municipal and state authorities' plans and measures for the village of Sundom, and when needed give the association's opinion.
• Keeping up the museum for local history and culture and promoting local traditions.
• Promoting environmental protection activities.
• Publishing the yearbook "Murmursunds Allehanda".
• Promoting the creation and maintenance of an archive.

Membership:

• Anybody who approves the aims of the association is free to join it.
